EYE PROBLEMS YOU SHOUDN'T IGNORE

Our eyes are one of the most vital sense organs, and its indeed amazing to know that the larger part of our brain is connected to the eyes.
        Detecting and treating eye problems can help in preserving your vision and good eye health, eye problems and diseases can damage the eyes and even lead to blindness if not detected and treated early.
        The very important fact is that you visit your doctor as soon as you notice any of these changes.
1) SUDDEN EYE PAIN/ REDNESS
Sudden redness and pain of eye could be a possible sign of glaucoma and could cause damage to the optic nerve.

2) DOUBLE VISION
Seeing double or ghost images could be caused by different eye problems and could also be a signal of underlying health issue like stroke.

3) NIGHT BLINDNESS
This occurs when you find it difficult to see in the night or in dim light.

4) HIGH SENSITIVITY TO LIGHT
The eyes become very sensitive to light when they can no longer lubricate themselves, a vital symptom of dry eye syndrone.

5) FLASHES IN ONE CORNER OF THE EYES
This flashes appear in one corner of the eyes when you look sideways.

6) SUDDEN BLURRED VISION
The vision becomes blurred as the lens swells, making it difficult to focus.

7) ITCHING AND BURNING SENSATION IN THE EYES
This could be as a result of dry eyes, conjuctivitis and even allergies.

8) PARTIAL VISION LOSS/DARKENED VISION

When one of the eyes seems to appear cloudy and becomes difficult to see clearly, it is an important sign of an eye problem.

9) WATERY EYE

Water from the eyes may be normal because of allergies, but when it becomes persistent and feels itchy, the eyes could be in danger of an eye infection or corneal ulcer.

10) SEEING A VEIL OR CURTAIN LIKE COVERING OVER ONE EYE

This appears like a veil or curtain from the top or side of the eyes, and makes objects appear like shadows.

If you notice any of these signs doesn't mean your eyes are damaged, but it's important to make an appointment with an opthamologist or optometrist immediately.
